Association

Kulturraum 209 supports the development of alternative, participatory, and ecological cultural projects in Berlin. The association provides a space for creation, exchange, and experimentation, organizing film screenings, contemporary art exhibitions, performances, readings, workshops, and open meetings for everyone. Our goal is to promote accessible, horizontal, and engaged culture.

Kulturraum 209 is a non-profit association based in Berlin. We encourage local initiatives and international collaborations, where culture becomes a bridge between people, ideas, and disciplines. We believe that art has the power to bring people together, inspire, and perhaps transform lives.

Members

Kulturraum 209 is led by a board elected for two years, consisting of Mathilde Irrmann as President, Helena Sattler as Vice-President, and Tristan Dale as Treasurer. Our team thrives on the energy of our volunteers and the passion of our members, who are the heartbeat of our association.

The collective has existed since 2023, operating without an administrative structure until 2025. Official establishment in September 2025. Vereinregister: 090 1770 768 785.

Membership

Our association is an open space for everyone. Whether you are an artist, art lover, neighbor, or simply curious, you are welcome. We offer two types of membership to support our activities: an active membership at 24 € per year for those who wish to participate in our projects, and a supporting membership starting at 12 € per year for those who want to encourage us without direct involvement.
